After seven years of hard work, on 17 September Matt Bennett was able to present his book, ‘St Albans City West 2001-2009’.

The book is a comprehensive record of Matt’s team as a St Albans City side, from Under 11s to Under 18s. It features match reports, league tables, photos, tour reports and much more.

The book also contains a ‘Legacy’ section, in which many professionals wrote about their experiences in football, including Kenny Jackett (Millwall manager and former Watford FC player), Joe Royle (former Manchester City/Everton player and manager), Peter Walton (Premier League Referee), Richard Lee (Watford FC goalkeeper), Sally Wade (Watford FC ladies captain), Craig Mackail-Smith (Peterborough striker and former St Albans City youth player), and many more.
